Experience
Mr. Leikhim’s professional career spans over 30 years in the consulting, marketing, design, engineering, technology
deployment, integration, optimization and testing of mission critical, land mobile radio (LMR) commercial and industrial
applications such as public safety (PSMR), state and local government, utilities, emergency medical services.
Professional Background
Mr. Leikhim has been actively involved with the deployment of latest Land Mobile Radio system technologies,
throughout most of his career; he has been a member of IEEE since 1993 and has been a member of APCO since
1994. Mr. Leikhim led in the early adoption of EIA/TIA TSB-88 methodology for the specification and testing of
several 800 MHz Land Mobile Radio systems, which were procured during the drafting of that document.
Prior to forming Leikhim and Associates in 2010, Mr. Leikhim held various leadership, engineering and technical
positions with ACD Telecom, Bearingpoint, RCC Consultants Inc., OMNICOM, and Motorola. He has completed
rigorous professional technical and management training programs and holds an FCC GROL and NABER/CTIA
Technical Certification. Mr. Leikhim has also received DHS/FEMA Incident Command System Certifications. The
industries, in which Mr. Leikhim has specific experience, include land mobile radio, utilities, transportation,
public safety, and emergency medical services.
